I Don’t Care For your Hair
Variations
on a theme by William Carlos Williams
I
left your wet shower hair on your bedroom floor.
I’m
sorry, but you left it in the drain
and
I asked you not to.
Maybe
someday we can wash our hair in peace
without
the interference of previous shampoos.
Forgive
me, it was an over-reaction.
But
your hair was left behind and
your carpet floor looked so inviting.
